Big Idea Week is a unique opportunity for your students to develop 21st-century skills and interact with local role models, while working collaboratively with their peers in a project-based learning model. The program is available to schools at no cost thanks to the generous support of our partners.

Big Idea Week 2016 takes place in NYC schools May 16 - 20.

This year, Big Idea Week will support 20 local schools that demonstrate compelling interest in and capacity for the program in their registration information. As a selected school, you will receive materials and support from Big Idea Week staff to execute a successful program, including connection to a team of mentors committed to working with and inspiring your students.

What to expect when you register:

  • Receive confirmation on your acceptance in Big Idea Week's 2016 program along with the free Program Toolkit
  • Work with the Big Idea Week team and follow steps in the Coordinator's Guide to plan the program at your school
  • Join us for training meetings and a kick-off celebration to meet mentors and representatives from other participating schools before Big Idea Week begins
